- FESTIVITIES LEADING UP TO THANKSGIVING – We don’t only celebrate on Thanksgiving Day! This year, on November 16, our residents will enjoy a fabulous Fall Festival. The festival will include a hot chocolate bar, a cider bar, a chili cook-off, a cake walk, and more! This is a great way for residents to enjoy a fun day of fellowship and even friendly competition. It helps set the mood for the upcoming holiday too.
- TRADITIONAL THANKSGIVING DINNER – At Victoria Landing, our meals are prepared by our amazing chef. He takes great pride in his food and serves our residents food that he would serve his own family. It is truly gourmet dining at Victoria Landing. For Thanksgiving, he will be pulling out all the stops and making a beautiful, traditional Thanksgiving dinner for our residents! We have shared about the fun that November offers at Victoria Landing, but you might be wondering what Victoria Landing has to offer you the rest of the year. Besides, fun holiday-themed activities, we offer outstanding food and activities all year long!
We weren’t kidding when we said we have a gourmet chef on-site! All three of your meals are prepared by our chef, so the stress of daily cooking is no longer on your shoulders! Instead, you get to spend enjoyable meals with friends! To give you a small example of what our residents enjoy, one of our lunch menus included Pasta e Fagioli soup, teriyaki grilled salmon, lemon risotto, and fresh vegetables. Is your mouth watering yet?
We also offer not just year-round activities but daily activities! We have a craft room, card room, library, fitness center, movie theater, and pub. You would have to TRY to be bored here! We offer organized daily activities that everyone is welcome to participate in, as well. Some activities we offer are trivia, drama club, afternoon tea, church services, Rummikub, happy hour, and much, much more! And, that’s just inside. Our outside activities include a beautiful swimming pool, walking trails, fishing, and a gardening club to name a few. You would have to see it to believe it! And, you can!
