We always have a ton of stuff going on here at Victoria Landing. In fact, you would have to actually try to be bored here! You are welcome to stay in your apartment if that is what you enjoy, of course, but then you would miss out on fun activities like Ugly Holiday Shirt Decorating! We are doing fun crafts, as well. We are making Santa Claus starfish – quite fitting due to living only minutes from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean! This year we are also making terra cotta “Gingerbread” houses! Don’t worry if you don’t enjoy crafts. There are plenty of other fun things to do. We are having Christmas Carols with the Rotary Club. We are having a Christmas scavenger hunt! And, don’t forget food! We are having fresh popcorn along with a hot cocoa bar and eggnog milkshakes. We are challenging our residents with a Christmas door decorating contest, so put on your competitive hat and get decorating!

During the holiday season, we are offering holiday-themed activiites for our Boardwalk residents. Christmas Karaoke is a particularly fun one! We will be having a Christmas carol sing-along, watching Christmas movie matinees every Saturday, and making Christmas crafts, plus much more! Memory challenges can be difficult, but fun is universal. We know our Boardwalk residents will enjoy this holiday season!

If you aren’t done with your holiday shopping, you may want to take a trip out to the Avenue in Viera. When your feet get tired you can take a carriage ride being offered for $20 through December 16! For you animal lovers, you may want to head out to Romelia Farms in Merritt Island for Deck the Stalls. For $10 you get unlimited time in the petting zoo. There will be festive arts and crafts for sale and food trucks in case you get hungry. This event is taking place December 17. If you haven’t watched the holiday golf cart parade in Satellite Beach, then head over there December 22. We love our golf carts here in Florida! Another very cool offering this holiday season is a tour of historic Brevard County homes. For $70 you can view 8 historic homes, including Green Gables right here in Melbourne!
