This is a great question because moving into a community with neighbors right next to you can seem overwhelming to an introvert. They may wonder if they will be forced to join activities. Will they ever get time to themselves again? Victoria Landing does offer many activities, but you are not required to participate in anything! You have your own private apartment, so you can have as much time to yourself as you need. Below is a sample of what Victoria Landing offers and how an introvert might like to spend their day there.
Morning: A lovely, delicious meal is served in our dining area. If you don’t like what is being served other nutritious options are always available. You may then choose to spend some time in our library or play a board game with a friend. You may want to go back to your apartment to watch some TV or do a puzzle.
Afternoon: Once again, a great meal is waiting for you in the dining area, but maybe it is one of our lunch outing days and you feel like a change of scenery. How does lunch at Squid Lips sound? If it’s a Monday, you might take advantage of Manicure Monday and get your nails done! Or maybe it’s Saturday, and you choose to go to our Movie Matinee and Popcorn in our very own movie theater!
Evening: It’s time for a wonderful dinner. We generally don’t have planned activities in the evening, so you may want to visit with friends, enjoy our lovely walking paths, or unwind with a good book or favorite TV show. How you enjoy your evenings is up to you!
What Is Victoria Landing Like For Extroverts?
Morning: Your day begins with a lovely, delicious meal shared with friends. Then, it’s on to Moving with Mary to get your blood pumping. After a quick shower, you have time to visit with friends before lunch or join them for a game in the game room!
Afternoon: You get to enjoy a lovely lunch either in the dining area or at a local restaurant. Victoria Landing is a community, not a lockdown facility! You are free to go anywhere you like. On certain days, we do offer organized lunch outings that you might enjoy though! After lunch, depending on the day, we have plenty to keep you busy. Live music, Bunko, bingo, Wine Down Wednesday, and ice cream socials are only a few of the many activities you will enjoy any given week!
Evening: Once, again, it’s time for a great meal. We have plenty to keep you busy during your evening if you aren’t ready to go to your apartment for the night yet. We have a pool, walking paths, a fitness center, a game room, and a craft room. With friends right next door, you can always find something to do!
